1st Annual Halloween Party

Carter had a costume party for his friends yesterday, and the kids had a blast. The kids did a scavenger hunt, pumpkin toss & a pumpkin relay race. Carter was so excited to have all his friends come over in all their costumes. All in all the 1st annual party was a success, see you all again next year.

Mexico Pics Part 1

We had a wonderful time in Mexico with our friends Jennifer & Conan. The resort was amazing, and the view from our room was the best. We did nothing but lay by the pool or beach and relax. We went out one night to a club, and they had an acrobat group preform from the ceiling. This was one amazing trip!!! We will have more pics from the ZIP line adventure when we get them from Jennifer.

Back From Mexico

We made it back from paradise, and it was amazing. When we get the rest of the photos from Jennifer, we will post them. This is one of our favorites though.

Another 1st for Carter

CARTER HAS LOST HIS FIRST TOOTH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Papa & Nina came by to visit, and Carter let Papa pull his tooth. He was so brave (after a little coaxing of course). He never even felt it come out, and he loved looking at the blood coming out. Oh what a sign of the changing times at the Smith house. Time goes too fast!

Jealous Yet!!

We leave tomorrow morning at 6:00am for Mexico. We have heard nothing but great things about the resort in Puerto Vallarta, and can not wait. We are a little anxious to leave the kids for that long, but we need it! They are staying with their MiMi, so they will be plenty spoiled and loved on. Can't wait to share it all with you when we get back.

Spirit Week

C.T. Elementary had spirit week for homecoming this week, that ended with all of the elementary kids going to the pep rally. If you can believe it, they were louder than the high school kids. They had a blast, but of course we did not bring our camera (great parents we are). Here are a couple of what Carter wore to school. His arm bad is the one Kayli gave him last year, and he thought he was pretty cool.

Bragging on Carter

These are a few weeks old, but we finally got our camera back. We are so prod of Carter's swimming this summer. By the end of the summer, he was going off the boards, ansd swimming without his floaties. That was a huge milestone for us all!!

Smith Family Water Park

Carter & Brynlee's cousins came to visit a few weeks ago. We got Carter a water slide, and that thing has been going ever since. It is a great baby sitter. Cousin Holton & the Parker girls came down to join in on the fun. As you can see daddy wanted in on the slide as well.

Growing up so fast

Our little girl is growing up so fast. We can not believe she is already three months old. Time flies by.

Birthday Night

We had so much fun that night, thanks to everyone who showed up. Big thanks to Jessica & the Davies for the ride home. Can't wait until the next birthday. Oh yeah, big shout out to Bernie Mac for stopping by to have a dance with Amy

Little Bit's First swim

We took Carter & Brynlee swimming on Sunday, and it was Brynlee's 2nd time in the pool. It took awhile, but she likes it. Not near as much as Carter. It is swimming & going off the board without floaties -- YEAH CARTER!!!

First Day Of Kindergarten

Our little man started kindergarten on Monday, and it was hard on mom and dad. He is growing up so fast, and turning into a big boy instead of our baby. Where does all the time go?

At Grams & Gramps

While in Austin we spent a few night in Wimberly at Grams & Gramps. We hiked down to the river, which Amy loved!!!! We also put puzzles together a million times, but the kids loved all of it.

Sea World & Austin

We went to Austin for a couple of days back in July, and had a great time. We took Carter to SeaWorld for the first time, while Brynlee had her first overnight stay with Grams. It rained the entire time at SeaWold, and they ended up closing most of the park at about 3:30, so we did not get to see all the shows. Carter did get to do exactly what he has wanted to do for 2 years and that was see Free Willie (Shamu) and Happy Feet (penguins). He was so excited to see Shamu that for once he was speechless. We were amazed as well. All in all it was a great trip. So much fun was had with the Cousins & G.Parents.
